This fog veils some treachery, no doubt.N/A, the Bounty Hunter is too tough to complain.Unlike other Heroes who unlock skills through the Shrine of Reflection, his other skills are unlocked by spending candles in The Living City, after which they are permanently unlocked and available for subsequent playthroughs. When hired, the Bounty Hunter will always start with Collect Bounty, Marked For Death, Come Hither,Ĭaltrops, and Flashbang equipped. The Bounty Hunter has a unique buff: whenever he uses a skill that consumes a combo token, he has a 50% chance to reapply the combo token on the target. If the player does not hire the Bounty Hunter at an Inn, his poster may reappear at a subsequent Inn. The Bounty Hunter can only be hired once per run and cannot be hired at the Inn prior to The Mountain, unless the current confession is Denial, in which case it is possible for him to appear at the final Inn.

The Bounty Hunter only has one path, Professional, which has no effects. Likewise the Bounty Hunter has no relationship interactions with other party members. All of the Bounty Hunter's skills are already mastered and cannot be upgraded further. When hired, the Bounty Hunter will have two random quirks, one positive and one negative, as well as one random trinket. If there is only one hero left in the party, the Bounty Hunter will not replace but accompany that hero instead. The player may hire the Bounty Hunter for the cost of 4 Candles of Hope the Bounty Hunter will then replace a hero of choice from the party and will remain with the expedition until the following Inn, at which point the original hero will return. When available for hire, his poster will appear above the fireplace at the Inn. The Bounty Hunter differs from the other Heroes in Darkest Dungeon II in that he cannot be selected during party creation at The Crossroads but must be hired during the run.
